On july 5th at the Springwater Gala the Springwater Archery Club hosted a Trophy Bow Shoot. 22 shooters participated. It was a beautiful sunny day and competition was fierce. There were some very high scores turned in
Competitors traveled from as far as Sodus and Henrietta to compete.
Cubs 1st place Sam Carey, 2nd Jeremiah Bowen, 3rd Taylor Droege. Youth 1st Matt Herbert, 2nd David Herbert jr, 3rd Adam Tatlock. In the Adult 1st David ( Herb ) Herbert, 2nd Cody Lancaster, 3rd Dennis Schwartz.
After the competition there was open shooting. 8 young people tried thier luck at Archery, with the help of club members( Carl Brehm, Ralph Hamilton, David Herbert Jr)
The Springwater Archery Club would like to commend the Gala committee, without them all this would not be possible.
