The members of the Springwater-Webster Crossing Historical Society value the rich heritage and people of this beautiful area.

We welcome anyone interested in Springwater and Webster Crossing to join.

 

 

 

PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

 

 

 

March 10, 2015 (Tuesday) Springwater Webster Crossing Historical Society Program at the Springwater American Legion. 

 

David Parish, Geneseo Historian will share his new talk “Three Terrible Crimes in Livingston County.” There will also be a short business meeting.

 

April 14, 2015 (Tuesday)  Springwater Webster Crossing Historical Society Program at the Springwater American Legion.

 

Gael Orr, Communications Manager for Once Again Nut Butter will speak about this successful, local business.

 

May 9, 2015 (Saturday) 10am-3pm at the SWCHS Museum.  

 

Mother's Day Bake Sale.  Our home-baked goods presented on attactive plates and wrapped baskets make a wonderful gift for any woman in your life.

 

May 12, 2015 (Tuesday) Springwater Webster Crosssing Historical Society Program at the Springwater American Legion.

 

Harvey Limbeck, a treasured Ganondagan volunteer trail guide, interpreter and out reach representative will speak on the History of the Iroquois Confederacy and share some Iroquois artifacts.

 

 

 

 

Programs are presented on the Second Tuesdays of Mar, Apr, May, Sep, Oct, Nov, and Dec at the Springwater American Legion, School Street.  Meetings are free and open to the public and start at 6:30 pm with a dish to pass dinner.  Programs start at 7:15 pm.  Come for the Dinner, the Program or both. 


MUSEUM

 

The museum is open from 2-4 pm on the first and third Sundays of the months of June, July, and August.  Please stop in, or call for an appointment.
